Daytime Attire
Big Sky in January is breathtaking—and cold! Expect temperatures well below freezing. This means layers, layers and you guessed it layers. The property is extremely casual, so please dress warmly and bring appropriate snow boots to comfortably explore the grounds.
Welcome Dinner: Western Winter Chic
We invite you to have fun with fashion for the Welcome Dinner! Think cozy, rustic, and a touch of Western glam. Be sure to bring your hats, suede, and leather goods by the Veranda either before or after dinner. We will have onsite branding available so you can personalize your look!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Black Tie
While our wedding celebration calls for formal, we want our guests to be warm and comfortable. Please know that each of our wedding events will be held indoors and there will be a short period on your transfer to the ceremony where you will be outside. Formal winter coats for all are strongly encouraged.

Shoe Valet for Reception
While the ranch will maintain clear access to all walking paths and stairs to
each venue on property, it is still advised you wear snow boots/shoes while on property.
-
Upon check-in, each guest will receive a shoe valet bag.
-
For our guests staying off property, we will make arrangements to have your shoe valet bags dropped off to your location of choice prior to arriving at the ranch
-

-
Use your bag to pack your formal reception shoes. Each member of your party will have their own individual bag.
-
Drop your bag at Horn & Cantle anytime Saturday afternoon or Sunday before the ceremony.
-
You’ll wear your snow boots to the ceremony and then on to cocktail hour, where you can change into your formal shoes. Your shoe bag will also contain information for your coat check so you may drop it off at the same time you receive your shoes.
-
When you’re ready to leave, your coat and boots will be waiting for you, just show your claim ticket.

A designated drop-off area will be located in the foyer of Horn & Cantle.
